The Association of Boards of School Education (AOBSE) has been established by an Act XXI of 1860 of Govt. of India. It is an association of all Boards of School Education in India and abroad. It works for the promotion of school education including curriculum reforms and improvement of Educational systems by interacting with NCERT/CBSE/NUEPA/NCTE.
Association of Boards of School Education (AOBSE) will also help School Education boards in preparing quality syllabus and course materials in accordance with National Curriculum Framework 2005 prepared by NCERT. It will also ensure the work relating to verification and genuineness of Education Boards. Association of Boards of School Education (AOBSE) will provide membership to the School Education Boards in India and abroad, as per guidelines and rules of AOBSE.
"Association of Boards of School Education will also provide its membership to Govt. Schools and Private (Aided & Unaided) Schools."
Association of boards of school education has been granted membership from Quality Council of India, Ministry of Commerce and is an ISO, 9001 – 2008, certified institution, registered with Ministry of HRD (CR) & Planning Communication, Govt. of India. Association of boards of School Education, being a registered society working in the field of school education has mandate for promotion of school education. The Govt. of India has notified and published Notification of Association of Boards of School Education, Delhi in the official Gazette of India.
Association of Boards of School Education is going to arrange 'School Boards Cricket Premier League' (SBPL ) every year for the promotion of sports and also conduct other cultural activities like Debate competition, singing & Dance competition etc.
